Tables of Contents Services

The JRR can help you stay up to date on the latest scholarly research through the Table of Contents Serivces. There are three ways to receive tables of contents, on paper , through the JRR blog, or by email.

  1. Paper
Journalism faculty, staff, and graduate students may receive paper copies of the table of contents for any journal to which the JRR currently subscribes. A complete list of journals available at the JRR is available here. To use this service, please contact the JRR.
  2. JRR Blog
The Table of Contents entries on the JRR blog contain regular updates on more than 70 journals covering Journalism and Mass Communications. The JRR PA will post a link to the table of contents as soon as it becomes available from the publisher. The entry will also note which camus library (if any) carries a paper copy of the journal and where the journal is available online in full text. For a complete list of the journals covered, click here. The JRR Blog is available as an RSS feed, so you can receive regular updates at your favorite RSS feed aggregator. 3. Email
You can sign up to receive your own email alerts for most scholarly journals. Alerts are available through publishers such as Sage, Blackwell-Synergy, LEA, and Informaworld. In addition, library databases such as Communication and Mass Media Complete and Pro Quest Research Library also offer alerting services. Many databases also offer alerts for searches for particular topics or keywords. For assistance setting up any of these alerts, please contact the JRR's PA.
